Confessions of a Central Valley Junky:
Central Valley March 12th, 2007I love it. Love Fresno, Merced, and the Fig Garden Shopping Center. I love the hot weather, the sunburns, the bikes, the boys, the cheers, the announcer. Love the carbon, the tactics, the thrill. And the bad tan lines and the bright kits. Love the talk on Mondays, the emails, the Vnews articles with props. This is my confession. I am a central valley junky.

Wrong valley but I like the pic.

and the valley loves you! Great job to you and the entire ValueAct Capital Team this weekend.
I know my road race was challenging and you felt your legs because of it all weekend. That 180 in the crit didn’t help the pain in the quads either.
Hopefully, ya’ll will come back and do it again next year!

I am really wishing I went now…especially since I heard that time cuts weren’t an issue. Instead I pulled B around Pig Farm on Sunday & then came home so he could take a nap. But I want more big races!
You’re all over the news these days! Love it…

Hey, nice blog! And thanks for putting a VNews article link in there in addition to the amazing kudos about our little part of the Central Valley here. Wanted to find you after the race yesterday to find out what happened out there, but had to watch the boys right after the women’s podium. You were SCORCHIN’ until that crash! Women’s racing has been AMAZING these last two weeks, and I’m simply thrilled to get to report on it. Am trying to hook up a gig with VN.com for Redlands, so will see you there if I manage it…gotta find housing! ~Kathie (your Central Cali roving reporter)
