Today: An East Bay Kitten Outing
scooters October 10th, 2007Taitt and I headed out to San Francisco this morning for some fun. We had breakfast with a friend and then we went to scooter shop. Taitt is selling her Miyata convertible for a scooter. She wants one just like my Honda 1985 Aero50, but those are hard to come by so she might have to settle for something a little nicer. We also went to Rockridge Two Wheels today to check out there stuff. How chic. What do you think of this scooter? It’s the LT150 by Piaggio, a very nice bike. Unfortunately they have discontinued this model in the USA, so Taitt and I have decided to take a European delivery trip so she can have her (almost) dream scooter.
Taitt is trying to sweet talk the man at Scooter West SF. He wants to give me that scooter for free . . .
But this is the bike I really want. The tough thing is that its so hard to be a good leader for the East Bay Kittens if I am riding a this big old bike and they are riding little scooters. If only I could find a cute scooter in red and lavendar. Better yet, could this be the color combination for the ValueAct kits next year? True the blue is so nice, but come on variety is the spice of life. And with so many colors to chose from in illustrator, how can we commit to the same old blue?
The day ended with the scooter man giving me this scooter because I am sweet bike racer. Thank you so much, scooter man, you really made my day!

That Aprilia is a nice bike, and it would whoop ass on all those scooters…in first gear! Say, does your new scooter come with pedals so you can make it go fast?

Learn to spell, first. Then tell people how awesome you are.

Dear Uncle Anonymous,
Thanks for the tip! Please feel free to provide any spelling corrections in my comments section so I don’t have to work to hard to correct them.
Turns out, I know who you are! And I know where you live, what your car looks like, your phone number, email address, all kinds of stuff. Isn’t that funny?
And oh boy, are you a good speller! You’ve got a lot going for you, I wouldn’t think you would have time and energy to heckle my blog at 6 am in the morning. But I guess everyone can make time for the really important things in life.
Don’t worry, Uncle Anonymous, I won’t tell anyone who you are. I could post your identity with a picture and all the nasty things you say . . . but I won’t. You aren’t that bad of a guy, just mis-understood, and I’d hate for everyone in the bay area to suspect you are sour on life.
Are you thinking of moving to Rockridge? I’ve seen you around lately. How fun, we will run into each other alot! Maybe we can have our morning coffee together at Royal? My treat!
Now let me give you a few tips. Make some time today to step out on your back porch for some fresh air. The sunshine can work miracles! Also, try posting your comments from your iphone while you are out and about town. That way you really can post anonymously.
Thanks!

I like your pose on the Piaggio: very Italian.
Is anonymous complaining about “there/their”? Spell check wouldn’t catch that.

The ringleader always has to have the best wheels! And I think Mr. Anon needs to learn the difference between spelling and grammar before he opens his fat mouth.
